Tyler was our Star Scientist last week. He read Dr. Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish which we used to sharpen our rhyming skills.
Tyler's mom and dad also brought in his 4-wheeler for his engineering object. All of the kids got a chance to sit on it and see all of the moving parts. We learned about how the brakes work too.
Tyler's experiment involved using a battery and a magnet to create a mini spinning motor. The magnet and battery combine to make a coil into an electromagnet that spins continuously.
